Invitations letters

Foreign delegates needing a special invitation letter in order to obtain visas may request it from the Organising Committee at least three months prior to the KBS 2023 Symposium.
For South Africa’s VISA requirements, please consult the Home Affairs website.

 

Confirmation of registration

You will receive a confirmation of registration by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail from the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2023 Symposium within a reasonable time, please send an e-mail to: .

 

Change of delegate

Substitutions of attendees can be made for a cost of 600 ZAR.
Please inform the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2023 Symposium in writing, giving the name of the substitute by 15 May 2023.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations can be made in writing to the Organizing Committee of the KBS 2022Symposium by sending an e-mail to:

 

Refunds

  • Until 15 May 2022: 50% (after bank expenses deduction)
  • After 15 May 2022: no refund

Refunds will be made after the KBS 2023 Symposium. If the participant can no longer attend (for reasons beyond the participant’s control) or if the KBS 2023 Symposium is cancelled (for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee), registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

 

Liability

The contributors will be carefully selected and the KBS 2023 Symposium will be carefully prepared. The organisers of the KBS 2023 Symposium cannot accept liability for the up-to-datedness, correctness and completeness of conference documentation and its content, unless the damage is the direct consequence of an intentional act or gross negligence. Neither the organisers of the KBS 2023 Symposium will assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the Symposium.

 

Disputes

All agreements between KBS 2023 organisers and the Other Party (conference participant) and all disputes which may arise between the Parties shall be exclusively subject to South African Law. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
